About Us
A few words about us
Let us introduce ourselves
This is how it started:
Our daughter was getting married. As small gifts to all friends and relatives at the wedding, she decided to give this Indian Tea Masala in a small packet and instructions as to how to make “The Special Indian Tea“.
Once they went home and made the tea as per the recipe, everyone was thrilled to taste the unique, beautiful, rich and luxurious flavor (flavour), we started getting Thanks and Compliments about the Meena’s Tea Masala and the recipe.
Of course, we were happily surprised and extremely happy that my daughter’s ideal to distribute the tea masala, was real successful. This gave us the idea that since people in general and many of our Indian friends and relatives were also asking for the Masala and the recipe, we decided to take the next step to make them and sell online.

Tea for Two!
Here is how to make the Indian Tea (for 2):
This is meant for 2 people (generally we think, it is a couple at home who would drink). For more people the ratios and proportions can be adjusted.
Indian Tea for 2 with Meena’s Masala
- Take 3 cups of water in a pot
- Add 1 Tea Spoon tea (we use Wagh Bakri Tea brand)
- Add 3-5 thin slices of fresh ginger
- Add 6-8 fresh mint leaves – make sure to crush or break leaves and tear them up like paper and make the smallest pieces as possible (see image)
- Add few blades of lemon grass (fresh is preferred) or saved and kept in freezer or refrigerated (see image).
- Now boil it – let it simmer for 1-2 minutes
- By now the 3 cups of water has been reduced to 2 cups
- Remove the pot from the stove
- IMPORTANT = Reduce the heat temperature to just above half of what it was when boiling
- Add 1-2 tea spoon of sugar or (shredded gur = jaggery)
- Mix it and let it dissolve
- THEN add the ¾ cup of milk
- Stir it slowly and then put it on the stove
- Do not step away from the stove – keep watching as it comes to boil – reduce heat if necessary and let it boil/simmer for about 30 seconds and then remove it from the stove.
- Use a strainer and pour it in your mug or cup+saucer and enjoy.
